The Bank Foundations and the incentives to cultural non profit young entrepreneurs

Abstract

This article analyzes the Italian Banking Foundations policies to promote the young nonprofit cultural entrepreneurs active in the fields of: the protection and preservation of historical and artistic heritage, the tourism development and the promotion of new and creative cultural products. During these years of financial crisis, the Banking Foundations financed allowances and income incentives called «fUNDER35 - the fund for the young cultural nonprofit entrepreneurs», a tender based on a projects appraisal approach. The article takes into account a variety of topics, the incentives promoting the economic and financial sustainability, the problem of exclusion of the promotion of cultural profit forms, the management problem of nonprofit firms.
