Abstract
The article is a personal account about ‘gb agency’, the gallery founded by Solene Guiller and Nathalie Boutin in Paris in 2001. The ‘agency’ of this creative project has been relying on a rhizomatic and radical program that, as in the position of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, has never intended to be peremptory, but in a continuous processual contingency. Over the years, the decision to support extraordinary and almost unknown artists has received the unanimous esteem of the global art system. Integrity, ethics, sociocultural and institutional engagement keep on inspiring the scientific quality and the human energy that make this project possible even when market’s times are tough.
