Abstract

In Italy the Ukrainian female migration has assumed considerable dimensions. The article, illustrates firstly this migratory flow main characteristics, and secondly some specificities of women's migratory experience. In particular, the article presents the complexity of the relation between women and money in the migratory context, and the migrant women's strategies aimed to keep transnational ties. Finally, in the last section it elucidates three Ukrainian migrants typologies.
