Abstract
In recent months the Italian debate on minimum income is returned to be lively, even bringing new proposals and poverty reduction initiatives. In the same time a measure to combat absolute poverty of families is being implemented. In this context is useful to discuss one of the regional policies to fight poverty, named Reddito di Cittadinanza, and try a summary of the findings, conclusions and recommendations, to avoid repeating mistakes in planning and implementation. Particular attention is given to implementation in Naples, where economic transfer is connected with social support programs.
