Abstract
This article presents needs profiles of a group of children in residential care at Italian Sos Villages that come out from the analysis of thirteen focus groups conducted with about one hundred participants. The results of the study reveal five areas of needs mostly concerning the dimension of promotion referring to the right of the children to be heard, involved in those decision that concern them, to have continuity of connections and to be not labelled.
