Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to identify old and emerging forms of representations of migration crises produced by users on Facebook pages. The analysis is focused on the role of Facebook users and on their comments on news that concern refugees and asylum seekers. The critical discourse analysis has been applied to comments in order to identify some discourses which are used to disguise and to legitimate discriminations and to understand forms of representation in the online public sphere.
