Abstract
The article analyzes a project implemented by a third sector organization that combines the fight to elderly people’s social isolation with new technological tools for health management. From the qualitative interviews, it emerges that health digitization is a very difficult goal for this kind of target and that the reduction of social isolation far from being the result of the Icts’ use, is the precondition for the learning of new technologies’ use. Finally, the article reflects upon the possible risks connected to the commodification of health.
