Abstract

The article aims at critically reflecting on the relationships between new technologies and the effects coming from their uses within the elderly people daily life. The author explores risks related to the massive diffusion of technologies and their implications on social exclusion of old people who more than others are the «outsiders» of the technological «era». The theoretical framework of the action research is showed as the field where it is possible to observe the technological innovation by paying attention both to machine functions and the users.
