Abstract
Only in recent times, crime news has become an object of historiographical studies, especially for the modern age. But there is still much to investigate by combining the facts of blood with the history of contemporary society to remove the one cloak of morbidity that often distinguishes them. Crimes and murders become detectors of much deeper and more complex historical events capable of providing original interpretations to understand different social, political and cultural contexts.
