Abstract
This study aims to investigate how, during the colonial period and beyond its conclusion, Italy looked at African nature. It will primarily focus on the exotic imagery associated with big game hunting in the colonies during the Fascist period, analysing various cultural products, including literature, cinema, and museum exhibitions. This research will highlight both ruptures and continuities, emphasizing the legacies of this transmedial discourse.
