Abstract

A fundamental part of Félix Guattari’s philosophical production is dedicated to the definition of a research method that can combine semiotics, psychoanalysis and politics. The purpose of this essay is to recover Guattari’s semiotic analyzes, as well as his ecological militarism, to show how they allow us to rethink the relationships between humans and non humans in the light of the semiotic relationships that define individual situations and, with them, the relative subjective positions. The first part will therefore be devoted to the description of the components of micropolitical pragmatics. This analysis will lead in the direction of the ecosophical approach and its links with the semiotic tools presented in the first paragraph. At the end, the potential of Guattari’s philosophical and semiotic approach will be shown by putting it in dialogue with some studies deriving from critical animal studies.
