Abstract
The article investigates the case of the industrial city of Brescia to understand the role of the cultural heritage, city actors and new technologies in the emergence of a path based on culture. Collecting interviews with key actors and developing a content analysis of the most relevant topics that emerged from the interviews, the results show the different phases of transformation and the crucial role of local government and cultural organisations in supporting this process. Moreover, new technologies emerge as important tools to communicate the ongoing transformation of the city.
