Abstract
The 2022 migration from Ukraine strongly impacted countries, regions, and cities. The main aim of this article is to reveal the role of the regional administration in the process and analyse it from the multi-level governance perspective. It offers a complementary view of the refugees who interacted with the authorities and other stakeholders at various levels. Applying the theoretical framework offers some implications for the management of migration. The analysis is based on one of the Czech regions as the Czech Republic is the state accepting the highest number of refugees from Ukraine per capita and thus offers a unique experience.
