Abstract

The special issue aims to provide an overview of multiple perspectives on culture and of the distinct transmission channels through which culture can affect economic development at the regional and local level. In this respect, the role of territory is recognized as fundamental and carefully considered throughout the issue, which includes an overarching article meant to present the overall research field and the related achievements and challenges, as well as four valuable contributions focusing on distinct points of view, studied at different geographical scales
