Abstract
A literature review using PRISMA protocol was performed to acknowledge career research with refugees. Eight keywords, six databases, and six inclusion criteria concerning articles’ language, abstract, population, career intervention theoretical and/or practical framework, intervention description, and year of publication were established. Amongst the initial 2,313 articles found, 16 fulfilled the eligibility criteria and were considered for further analysis. Results favor contextual and constructivist approaches, suggesting resettlement programs should include a personalized intervention allowing refugees: professional identity re-establishment; learning of host country’s labor market and language; and development of career self-management skills, as job search or network building
