Modern forms of ethnic prejudice: Theoretical proposals and measures

Abstract

During the '60s and '70s, the social disapproval of the racist ideologies becomes stronger and stronger. Ethnic prejudice starts to take new forms, more subtle and socially acceptable and therefore more difficult to be disguised. Different theories will be developed to explain modern forms of prejudice and lots of measure will be created to tap it. The aim of this work was to present the principal themes of the aforementioned theories and to realize a review of twelve paper and pencil measures of prejudice.
