Abstract
Main objective of the present research is to investigate the effect of shared and unshared information exchange on group decision in 45 groups, using the hidden profile procedure. In line with results of Stasser and Titus (1985, 1987), the present study shows that the option selected by the group is correct when there is an higher exchange of unshared than shared information among group members.
