Abstract

This paper provides a contribution to the topic of constructive organizational deviance, understood as a set of voluntary behaviors of violation of organizational rules and working procedures with the intention to effectively respond to organizational problems and to realize a good performance. Through two independent studies, it has been proposed an Italian adaptation of constructive organizational deviance scale (Galperin, 2012), which provided, through exploratory and confirmatory analyzes, satisfactory psychometric results and adequate convergent and discriminant validity. Additionally, the positive relationships of this construct with the variables of creative potential, innovation and performance, and its both empirical and conceptual difference from the destructive organizational deviance were confirmed.
