Abstract
Psychology's growing interest in the study of the various ways through which people engage in the social context, led to the need of a field of studies called «psychology of participation ». This paper aims to propose a systematization of the literature focusing on different «forms of participation», such as social action, volunteerism, and collective action, concluding with a summary schema that shows the relationships that exist between the different forms of action presented.
