Abstract

Among the institutions which towards the end of the 1990s aroused a great interest in public law doctrine (Italian and foreign but also comparative) there are certainly the independent administrative authorities. Despite the vast amount of writings on the IAA, interest in them has never waned, even when, after the initial “euphoriaµ that accompanied their entry in Europe, their decline was widely discussed: the production of writings on this subject, in fact, has never stopped, but has continued to analyze these organisms, as well as to question the veracity of their feared decline.
