Abstract

The article is devoted to the participation of citizens in the rulemaking procedures of the Government of the Russian Federation and federal executive bodies. At present, citizens have the opportunity to participate in lawmaking, both indirectly, through civil society institutions, and personally, using digital technologies. The article reveals the content of such forms of public participation in the rule-making process, such as public expertise, the activities of public councils under federal executive bodies, public consultations, independent anti-corruption expertise, public discussions, public initiative. The author reveals the existing shortcomings and suggests ways to overcome them.
