Abstract
In this paper three members of the International Association for Philosophy Teachers describe the origins and activities of their society. Firstly, Gabriele Münnix illustrates the origins and history of the Association Internationale des Professeurs de Philosophie, which developed in three phases. Secondly, Werner Busch describes the role of the AIPP h at the FISP World Congress of Philosophy. Finally, Floris Velema gives an account of the COMET project, in which teachers of ethics throughout Europe have worked together.
