Abstract

This new contribution - following in the wake of my recent studies on Mario Calderoni - attempts to demonstrate how Giovanni Vailati introduces a detailed analysis of the theoretical universe and will addressing - through frequent appelas to the flexible tool of review - interesting ethical themes such as the dilemma of liberty, caught between determinism and indeterminism. The analytical dissolution of the "false dilemmas" of ethics, together with the study and the organization of the wish's universe, is understood by Giovanni Vailati as the supreme mission of the "moralist" (or of the "meta-moralist"), and indeed of man himself.
