Abstract

The present text concerns philosophical writing at school. In the first section, the author starts with the reason to introduce such an activity. Then he focuses on the procedure to guide students in writing a simple Socratic dialogue through teamwork, with tasks and discussions designed to arrive at a shared understanding. In the end, the author upholds the importance of the learner being actively involved in the learning process, and the role of the instructors as facilitator. It is hoped this study will help illustrate the significance of philosophy as creative thinking.
