Abstract
How can a teacher introduce modern political philosophy to 18 years old students? The main concepts of modern political philosophy are functional to what can be considered an important skill: citizenship awareness. The article describes groups of students that worked on five main concepts: absolutism, liberalism, the Enlightenment and its political side, women’s contribution to political thinking, and democracy. At the end of the research every group created some content (a radio podcast, video, or blog) to be shared with students in the same age bracket and reflect on key political concepts which are still relevant today.
