Dedicated to the memory of Elena Pulcini, this article challenges the rationalistic reality principle imposed by both modern political realism and its late capitalistic version. To arouse the passion for the care of the word, the concept of reality is contrasted by the concept of the real, coined by Jacques Lacan and reworked by Slavoj ´i¸ek and Mark Fisher
