Abstract

This article aims to analyze some aspects of De Gouges’ proposal about gender equality in fundamental rights, compared whit-to French Revolution Declaration proclaimed two years earlier and its principles: freedom, equality and fraternity above all. Some arguments and suggested laws hold an actual and primary importance, especially in human relations (regarding more than women’s rights), providing for new modern means of weaking’s protection, concerning identity, property and slavery repealing.
