Abstract
This work moves from the analysis of two projects about the use of blockchain technology to tackle the same practical problem: the distrust of possible buyers, which turn flourishing markets of second-hand products into so-called markets of lemons. In the context of mistrust among operators and in the absence of authorities or public registers, blockchain technology can shape the behaviour of individual actors in the market, modelling, in particular, the content of the notion of good faith.
