Abstract
This paper explores the Proposal for a Regulation on a Common European Sales Law's role as a model law for reforms in national law; so far, this is the field in which the text did reveal itself to be more fruitful. Particularly, the paper examines summarily the way in which it has influenced the recent Catalan Draft on Sales.
