Abstract

This paper offers an overview of the theory of disintegration of political order in Alessandro Colombo’s last work Guerra civile e ordine politico. Moving from Tempi decisivi. Natura e retorica delle crisi internazionali, and from a number of relevant studies, which have provided new elements for a better understanding of civil wars, the author highlights continuity and originality of his approach to the disruptive nature of political crises and the collapse of the classical disjunction internal/external.
