Abstract

If conventional agriculture is becoming unsustainable, technologies can play an important role in ecological transformation processes but must be rethought and shaped in respect of people and other forms of life. In this article we propose a participatory researchaction experience highlighting the strength of the encounter between faber and sapiens or between peasants of the internal areas of Campania and engineers who use 4.0 technologies highlighting the strength of the communities of practices and intentions in the processes of social and technological innovation. On the basis of the research-action conducted in recent years, we finally note the presence of enabling conditions that make technologies (also 4.0) useful for social innovation processes, having positive impacts on the environment and the economy.
