Abstract
Some general features of the problem of epigraphic falsifications are analyzed, and the approach of the editors of CIL is criticized when they explain all those inscriptions preserved only by e.g. Ligorio as fakes. The second part collects several additions of fakes that have not been published in epigraphic corpora.
