Abstract

Following the advent of techno-nihilist capitalism, a soft totalitarianism, in the last forty years we have witnessed a radical change in values in the West, while maintaining the individualistic moral and social code. Prophetic symbols like Superman and Charlie Brown help to read the ethos of this new totalitarianism in its racist scope, according to the reading of Michel Foucault, as a source of inclusion and exclusion. The figures of unsustainable suffering generated by it, open the field for a critical position on the philosophical side and for a political proposal that can be more inclusive.
