Abstract
This essay analyses the anti-fascist formation of Lucio Lombardo Radice, as part of the formation of the circle of young intellectuals who were to bring life to the Roman Communist Group: a very significant glimpse into the new anti-fascist generation that formed autonomously in Italy in the second half of the 1930s, and that would later join the leading figures in the Resistance, is reconstructed here on the basis of important unpublished documents.
