Abstract
Sociality has become more and more important in our post-modern societies, where it takes different shapes and carries out not only social but economic tasks as well. Globalization has taken part in changing and enriching the traditional forms of sociality typical of every nation especially through three innovations: a widespread social and political acceptance of multiculturalism; a new positive attitude of States and societies toward internationalization; a strong technological development that has made our ways of communication, from the Internet to digital platforms, more and more efficient and unexpensive. The growing relevance of the so-called social networks has been confirmed and expanded during the pandemic, when for the first time in human history whole pieces of life of many people have been transferred on the web, giving birth to completely new forms of sociality.
