Abstract
Global wars and the risk of an atomic conflict require global responses and a constitutional re-foundation of the United Nations. In the opinion of the author, rethinking international law today means expanding the constitutional paradigm to international law. Only a Constitution of the Earth which disarms the States, imposes the protection of the natural environment, introduces the guarantees of peace – the banning of arms and the abolition of armies – can implement the prohibition of war, the principle of equality, the universalism of human rights and saving the planet
