Abstract
The focus of this essay is the analysis of Marx's thought on "human rights": not in a historical or political perspective, but in a "heretic" one. The author, in fact, starting from the concept of "point of heresy" elaborated by Michel Foucault, analyzes the links between Marxist theory and "human rights", a relationship that has evolved over the years. According to the author, Marx's criticism of the concept of "human rights" is still linked to a Eurocentric view of philosophy and politics. Today, however, other forms of criticisms (cultural, social, and feminist) are coherent with the one of Marx and should be considered as an enrichment of Marxist reflection.
