Abstract
The "voice" of immigrants is here analysed as an aspect of the larger theme of political struggles in contemporary Italy. Immigrants struggles are reconstructed from 1989 to today. They are divided in 3 periods: from 1989 to 1998; from 1998 to 2009; from 2009 to today. The first period begins with Jerry Masslo murder in Villa Literno, the second period begins with Turco-Napolitan Immigration Law, the third period begins with the global economic crisis. Immigrant experience is intended in an open scheme, where social movements can change policy framework.
