Abstract

The National Plan for LTC social services recently approved must be considered the implementation of some articles introduced by the 2022 Budget Law. Its approach is coherent with the policy strategy adopted by the National government since 2016. However, specific critical issues affecting the LTC policy field, i.e. territorial differences, the predominance of cash transfers vs in-kind services, the difficulties of non-profit organizations in the supply of LTC services, remain unaddressed
