Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic will determine the increase of poverty rate, in Italy and worldwide, because of economic recession and unemployment growth. Italy has already suffered the increase of poverty rate during the decades 2008-2017 more than other European countries. It is therefore very important to analyse the anti-poverty measures that the Italian Governement has established during the COVID-19 pandemic through the analysis of the two main decrees issued over the last monts: d.l. 18/2020 and d.l. 34/2020.
