Conservation, enhancement and reuse of religious cultural heritage. The discipline of Italian ecclesiastical law
Abstract
The legal system of religious cultural heritage has developed a discipline focused on both the conservation of goods and activities of valorization-fruition. According to the constitutional order, the first are regulated at the state level, while others at the regional level. In both the situations, based on the agreements signed by States and Catholic Church or States and some minority religious confessions, goods conservation, care, valorization, and use must comply with "specific religious needs". This purpose is reached by agreements between religious authorities and civil institutions aimed to find ways of cooperation and collaboration on various themes: libraries, archives, museums, training of operators and financing systems.
