Abstract
The essay analyses the Preliminary verification of archaeological interest, regulated by the new Public Contract Code, D.lg. 31 marzo 2023, n. 36. The regulation safeguards the archaeological heritage, especially regarding the so-called “archaeological riskµ, also in order to ensure the speed and certainty of public works.
