Abstract

The present mood towards heritage is also valid for the notion of nature and particularly for animate nature. Within it, the "monumental trees" are one of the most suggestive examples of the transformation into heritage. A singular and controversial case is represented by the apulian secular olive trees, which have been lately supported by the region Apulia with new rules.
