Protection and integrated enhancement of the cultural heritage of Unesco sites. The case of the serial site "Palermo Arab-Norman and the Cathedrals of Cefalù and Monreale"
Abstract
The paper discusses parallel and cooperatives protections in the global law of cultural heritage: the case of assets allocated to Unesco sites, and particular case of the serial site "Palermo Arab-Norman and the Cathedrals of Cefalù and Monreale. Finally the paper outlines the need for cultural heritage enhancement actions to develop interinstitutional cooperation.
