Bio

Alessandro Gaudio teaches Italian literature for children at the University of Calabria. He is a member of the scientific committee of "Rivista di Studi Italiani" and "Diacritica"; he collaborates with "Il Ponte," "Lingua Nostra," "Incroci," "Poetiche," "Comparatismi" and other prestigious scholarly journals. His most recent books include Il romanzo del Sud (Giulio Perrone, 2017), Gli anelli di Saturno (Diacritica Edizioni, 2020) and NecessitÃÂÃÂ del romanzo (Divergenze, 2020 and 2021). His scholarly activity is complemented by the need to analyze and counter the psychic, social and political mechanisms of capitalism.
