Bio
Mariano Croce teaches Political Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, Sapienza University of Rome. After receiving his PhD in Philosophy, he worked as a research fellow at the School of Law of the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and as a Marie-Curie Fellow at the Faculty of Law of the University of Antwerp. He collaborates regularly with the University of Antwerp and Charles University in Prague, where he coordinates research projects on the formation of sexual identities and the legal recognition of non-conventional relational models. His recent publications include The Politics of Juridification (Routledge, 2018), Postcritica. Asignificanza, materia, affetti (Quodlibet, 2019), The Legacy of Pluralism (con Marco Goldoni, Stanford University Press, 2020), LâÂÂindecisionista. Carl Schmitt oltre lâÂÂeccezione (con Andrea Salvatore, Quodlibet 2020), CosâÂÂè lo stato di eccezione (con Andrea Salvatore, Nottetempo 2022), Carl SchmittâÂÂs Institutional Theory. The Political Power of Normality (con Andrea Salvatore, Cambridge University Press, 2022). Ha inoltre curato le nuove edizioni di Santi Romano, LâÂÂordinamento giuridico (2018) e Frammenti di un dizionario giuridico (2019).
