Abstract
This paper addresses the Severino’s interpretation of situational problematicism, focusing on three conceptual moments. After considering the meaning of problematicism in Ugo Spirito’s philosophy, it will analyze Severino’s convergence and progressive detachment from Bontadini’s interpretation of actualism and problematicism, which has its speculative core in the “Destiny of necessityµ as the original answer not only to problematicism, but to the whole alienation constituted by the nihilism of the West.
