Abstract

Starting from the relationship between identity and non-contradiction that emerges from a pre-critical writing by Kant, the essay examines the concepts of “contradictionµ, “differenceµ, “negationµ, “identityµ, “self-contradictionµ, concluding that negation cannot consist in a relationship and that, therefore, the identity, presupposed by Aristotle, between contradiction and negation must be rejected. An unprecedented concept of “denialµ emerges, in the light of which diversity and identity seem to acquire a new meaning.
