Abstract
In this study we intend to present an interpretative thesis and a philological thesis. Firstly, we want to provide a hypothesis for a general reading, but without any claim to exhaustiveness, of the relationship between religion and politics, religion and objective spirit, in Hegel. This hypothesis will be tested in a series of Hegelian textual locations, from the early writings to the Berlin Lectures on the Philosophy of Religion. Secondly, we will advance a philological conjecture on a fragment of a Hegelian commentary on Kant’s Metaphysics of Morals
