Abstract
The study focuses on the relationship between ethics and polithics in the philosophy of the italian philosopher Norberto Bobbio. The paper shows how Bobbio's theory of democracy starts from this relationship: democracy is a point of agreement between the moral and political demand. Bobbio analyzes the moral issue, the theories of Carl Schmitt and Max Weber, realism, idealism and other theories about the relationship between ethics and polithics. Then he elaborates his theory of democracy.
